Because the physical and mental health of children is the raison d’être of Béké-Bobo, we are proud to announce that we will be involved in the Fondation les Petits Trésors.
For more than 30 years, the Rivière-des-Prairies Hospital’s Fondation les petits trésors (Little Treasures Foundation) is exclusively dedicated to the mental health of children and adolescents in Quebec. An estimated 250,000 children and adolescents with behavioral problems, attention deficit disorders, autism and other mental disorders account for more than one in five children! As you can see, the mental health of young people demands our full attention because in Quebec, hundreds of thousands of children and their families are affected.
The Foundation’s mission is to support the leadership of the Rivière-des-Prairies Hospital, Quebec’s only pedopsychiatric hospital, so that it can find innovative solutions to these problems. The health of children is also their mental health!
A healthy body is extraordinary, but without a healthy mind, it becomes difficult to dream of building the future.
